Remark or addition

Description

  • Doubles improve your hand-eye coordination, explosive power and contact strength.Doubles require moving between rungs with both hands at the same time, creating a dead point before catching the next rung.
  1.  Hang  from the bottom rung of the campus board. Your hands should be about shoulder width or slightly less apart.
  2.  Striving for  fluid motion, begin moving between rungs with both hands at the same time, creating a dead point before catching the next rung.
  3. Stop when you cant reach higher and work your way back down to the bottom position or drop back from the highest rung you can reach.

Points of attention

  • Try to maintain good form, make sure you don’t jerk your legs and try to keep them in front of your body and straight.

Progression Ladder

  • There are many different sequences, but generally you will start with 1-2-3-2-1 and work your way up to more complex routines like 1-3-2-4-3-5.
  • Eventually instead of skipping 1 rung you can start missing multiple rungs 1-4-7-4-1.
